• Rate of the submarine per minute: 10 minutes.

• The position after half an hour: ( half an hour is equal to

30 minutes)

30min×10mt

=300mt

Hence, The position after half an hour is 300 metre under sea.

b)

• Rate of the submarine per minute: 10 minutes.

• The position after 15 minutes: 15min×10mt = 150mt

Hence, The position after 15 minutes is 150 metre under sea.
