A ripple tank with a vibrator working at a frequency of 30hz produce 25 complete waves at a distance of 50 cm. The velocity of the wave is

25 waves in 50cm., therefore 1 wavelength = (50/25) = 2cm., or 0.02 metre. 
30 waves per second are produced (the frequency). 
Velocity = (wavelength x frequency) = 0.02 x 30, = 0.6 metre, or 60cm., per sec. 




So option B)
