Answer:

The time at Montreal will be 7:44 a.m.

Explanation:

Time in India = 5:30 p.m. = 17:30

India is ahead of GMT by 5 hrs and 30 mins

So, time at Greenwich = 17:30 - 5:30 = 12:00

Montreal's co-ordinates = 74° W

For every 1°, there is a time diifecence of 4 mins from time a greenwhich and since Montreal is towards West, it will be behind in time. Hence the time difference will be subtracted from time at Greenwich

Now, since Montreal is 64° W, time difference = 4 x 64 = 256 mins = 4hrs 16 mins.

Hence, time at Montreal = 12:00 - 4:16 = 7:44 = 7:44 a.m.
