Let r = {3, 6, 9, 12}

here r is set of all positive integral multiple of 3 less than and equal to 12.

so, we can write r, in set - builder form

r = { x : x = 3n , n \in N, 1 ≤ n ≤ 4}

please make me brainlist

Bhawna369: I have asked can we write in the way I have written ??

Answer:

{3x : x = 1,2,3,4}

Your way is wrong because in your way 12 is not included and also this is a better and shorter way to express.
