x -1 = 0

x = 1

____________

p(x) = {3x}^{4} - {4x}^{3} - 3x - 1

p(1) = {3×1}^{4} - {4×1}^{3} - 3×1 -1

\implies 3-4-1

\implies -1-1

\implies -2

Hence,the remainder will be -2
