the distance from the wall is 6M and the distance above the ground is 8 metres it is making an angle of 90 degree so 6 square + 8 square equals to 10 square so we can see that the length of the ladder is 10 metres now if its foot is 8 metres away from the ground then it stopped would be10 square minus 8 square equals to 6 square and therefore it would reach 6 metres to the top hope this helps you!!!
