Let take, the blanks boxes as a,b,c and d as a variable.

now, according to question,

a + b = 8 .....(1)
a + c = 13 ...(2)
b + d = 8 .....(3)
c - d = 6.......(4)

Adding 1,2,3,4 we get.

2a+2b+2c = 35

so, a + b + c = 17.5

using 1 ] 8 + c = 17.5
so, c = 9.5

#putting value of c in 2, we get.

a + 9.5 = 13
a = 3.5

# putting value of a in 1, we get

3.5 + b = 8
b = 4.5

#now, putting the value of b in 3 ,we get the last value of d .

4.5 + d = 8
d = 3.5

now ,

Given :-

a+b = 8 --- (i)
a+c= 13----(ii)
b+d = 8 ----(iii)
c-d = 6 -----(iv)

Now , adding (i) to (iv) we get

2a + 2b +2c = 35

2(a+b+c) = 35

a+b+c = 17.5. ------ (v)

Now ,

putting value of (i) in (v). we get

8+c = 17.5

c = 9.5

And , putting (ii) in (v)

13+b = 17.5

b = 4.5

now , we get b and c so ,

a+b+c = 17.5

a = 17.5-14

a = 3.5

and , putting b value in (iii) we get

b+d = 8

d = 3.5

hence ,

a= 3.5

b= 4.5

c = 9.5

and d = 3.5
