If an object 4 cm height is placed at a distance of 18 cm from concave mirror having focal length 12 cm.find the position, nature, and height of images.

Answer:

the image would be 36cm from the mirror , image's would be 8cm and it is a real and inverted image. Its by using mirror formula 1/f equals 1/p +1/q where f is focal legth, p is object distance from the mirror and q is image distance from the mirror.

Further on, its height is calculated by using magnification formula i.e hi/ho equals q/p where hi is height of image, ho is height of object and pand q are object and image distances respectively
