Answer: The number of Rs 100 tickets sold was 110.

Step-by-step explanation: Let the number of Rs 100 tickets sold be = x

and the number of RS 200 tickets sold be = (20 + x)   [A.T.Q]

Then, according the question

100x +200 ×(20 + x) = 37000

⇒ 100x + 4000 + 200x = 37000

⇒ 300x = 37000 - 4000

⇒ 300x = 33000

⇒ x = 33000 ÷ 300

⇒ x = 110

Therefore the number of Rs 100 tickets sold = 110
