Force on the pulley by the clamp
F=√T2+[(M+m)g]2

F=√Mg2+[(M+m)g]2

F=√M2+(M+m)2g

T =Mg
N = T*root 2
N =root 2 * Mg
F = root (N^2 + (mg)^2 +2N*mg*cos theta)
F = root ( 2(Mg)^2 +(mg) ^2 + 2*Mg root2*mg *cos 45)
F = root ( (Mg) ^2 +(mg) ^2 +2Mg*mg +Mg)
F =root ( (Mg+mg) ^2 +Mg)
F = g*root ((Mg+mg) ^2 +Mg)

Hence D is a the right answer
