Relativive velocity of the block B wrt to wedge = 1+1 =2m/s ( because Block A moves left with 1 m/s and wedge also moves right with 1 m/s)
Now if we take up with y axis and right positive x axis than
Relative vector velocity = 2 sin theta j + (-2) cos theta i ( here angle is 60)
So b - a = 2*root 3/2 j - 2*(1/2) i
Here b is velocity vector of block B and a is velocity vector of wedge
Hence a = 1 i
Now we find b

b = root 3 j - i + i = root 3 j
Root 3 in the upwards direction is the right answer
