A 1800 kg car accelerate over a distance of 120m due to the net force of 4200N. If its initial speed was 40 km/h, what is its final speed?​

Answer:

Force =mass×acceleration

F=m×a

a=F/m

=4200/1800

=7/3m/s^2

Given:-

initial velocity (u)= 40km/h

=40*5/18

=100/9 m/s

final velocity =?

use 3rd equation of motion..

 {v}^{2}  = {u}^{2}  + 2as \\   {v}^{2} =  { \frac{(100}{9}) }^{2}   + 2 \times  \frac{7}{3}  \times 120 \\  {v}^{2}  =  \frac{10000}{81}  + 560 \\  {v}^{2} =  \frac{55360}{81}  \\ v = 235.2 \div 9 \\ v = 26m {s}^{ - 1}
