Doubt- Is it necessary that the area of cross section will change if the length of the conductor is reduced or increased and vice versa?​

If the wire is stretched to increase or decrease its length, then area is affected (as volume is constant). If the wire is replaced by a different wire of different length but same area of cross-section, definitely there is no change in the area.
