Answer:

Let the height of the right angle be x

therefore its base will be 3x

Now area of right angle = 800

i.e. 1/2 × height × base = 800

i.e. 1/2 × x × 3x = 800

i.e. 1/2 × 3x^2 = 800

i.e. 3x^2 = 1600

i.e. x^2 = 1600/3

i.e. x= √1600/3

i.e. x = 40/√3

i.e. x = 40√3 / 3

Therefore height is 40√3 / 3 cm

and base= 3 ( 40√3 /3) cm = 40√3 cm

Answer:

Height = 40√3/3 cm

Base = 40√3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let height be x cm

Base(height) = 3x cm

Area = 800 cm²

Area of right-angled triangle = 1/2 × base × height

800 = 1/2 × 3x × x

800 × 2 = 3x²

1600 = 3x²

x² = 1600/3

x = 40√3/3

x = 40√3/3

Height = 40√3/3 cm

Base = 40√3 cm
