Total resistance in series combination and in parallel also

= R1 + R2 + R3 + R4 + R5 + R6 + R7 + R8 + R9

= 5 + 3 + 1 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 5 + 1/10 + 1/10

= 22.2 Ohm

And Given potential difference is 12V.

In question they are asking about current in 4 ohm resistor which is connected into series.

And we know that In series Current is equally distributed.

Therefore, We know Ohm law,

V = I × R

=> I = V/R

=> I = 12 / 22.2

I = 0.54 A
