HERE IS UR ANSWER

_____________________

  • magnitude of resultant vector

 {r}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab \cos\theta \\  {r}^{2}  =  {3}^{2}  +  {4}^{2}  + 2(3)(4) \cos(90\degree) \\  {r}^{2}   = 9 + 16 + 2(3)(4)(0) \\  {r}^{2}  = 9 + 16  = 25 \\  r = √25 = 5units

resultant =5 units

  • Direction of resultant vector

 \tan( \alpha )  =  \frac{b \sin(\theta) }{a + b \cos(\theta) }  \\  \tan( \alpha )  = \frac{4(1)}{3 + 4(0)}  =  \frac{4}{3}

so,from above calculations

option b) is correct
