Let take velocity of A is a vector, velocity of B is b vector, and velocity of C is c vector
Than c - a acted on East so take positive x direction, and c - b acted on North so take positive y direction, b =2a and mode of C-a and c-b (= c-2a) given in the question
So we can take C-a = ni cap and c - 2a =nj cap
Here we want to find angle which make c vector
With x axis it will be come when 2*(c-a) - (c-2a) = 2*ni - nj
2c - 2a - c +2a = n (2i - j)
C = n(2i - j)
So tan theta = h /b = - 1/2
theta = tan ^ - 1 (-1/2)
= - tan ^-1 (1/2)
Here - sign means it is acted in forth quadrant means South to East
I hope it's help
