Yes the whole Thirukural comprised of 133 chapters called adhikaaram's and in each chapter consists of
10 couplet's is called kural. All the Kurals have only 7 words(4 words in first line and 3 words in second line). So ,totally there are 1330 couplet's(stanzas).It covers 3parts(PAAL) . The 1st paal is Aram (morality), dealing with matters such as God and speaking truth; the 2nd is Porul (earthly) discusses issues such as politics, administration, friendship, and medicine; and finaly 3rd is Inbam (pleasure), talks about love between a man and a woman.
