It is absolutely true that only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches. It is very easy to make fun of people in trouble; but when the same trouble afflicts us our attitude to life and miseries of others undergoes a drastic change
At first when Ali went everyday to the postoffice in hope of letter from his daughter The workers made fun of him and told him mad. The postmaster told him a pest too. But when the postmaster went through the same Pain when his daughter lies ill in another town, he waited for her letter impatiently. And then he realizes what a letter meant to anybody's life. Then he felt guilt and regrets for his deeds.
