Answer 2 3 4

Case 1 = .1 M CH3COOH

2.706=ixCxRXT

from here i¹=1.1

also i=1+a

a1=.1

Now conc. of CH3COO- =Ca1= .1x.1=.01

Now conc of H+ =Ca1=.1x.1=.01

Case 2 = .2M CH3COOH

5.166=i²XRXCT

from here i²=1.05

Also i²=1+a2

from here a2=.05

Now conc of CH3COO- =Ca2=.2X.05=.01

Now conc of H+ = Ca2=.2X.05=.01

Comparing both cases

  • degree of dissociation decrease
  • pH of both is same
  • Conc of CH3COO- IS SAME
