Answer:

given sides

a - 100 m

b- 100 m

c - 120 m

by using herons formula

that is √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

where s is perimeter/2

= 100+100+120/2

= 320/2

=160

s-a = 160-100 = 60

s-b = 160-100 = 60

s-c = 160-120 = 40

so,

√ 160× 60×60×40

60 √80×2 × 20×2

Answer:

semi perimeter of the triangle=a+b+c/2

a=100,b=100,c=120

s=100+100+120/2=160

area of the triangle=✓s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=✓160(160-100)(160-120)

=✓160×60×60×40

=✓16×10×6×10×6×10×4×10

=10×10×6✓2×2×2×2×2×2

=600×2×2×2×2×2×2

=(C) 4800
