u = 150m/s

v = 0m/s (Bullet comes to rest)

S = 3.5cm = 0.035m

a = ?

- = 2aS

0² - 22500 = 2×a×0.035

a = -22500/0.07 = -32142m/

Here, -ve sign indicates that the body is retarding
