Surface area from one side equals to

2lh +2bh +lb(since the tank is open)

2(3*1.5) +2(2*1.5) + (3*2)

=2*4.5 + 2*3 + 3*2

=9+6+6

=21m^2

This is the area from one side

The are from two sides is twice of thi that is 2*21 =42 m2

Now,

20m2 requires 1kg paint

1m2 requires 1/20kg paint

42m2 requires 42/20 kg paint

Therefore 2.1 kg paint is required...
