Opening a Bank A/c on SBI :-
For Safety as well as Convenience, Most of the business transactions are done through "Bank". For this purpose a Current A/c. is opened in a bank. Bank Account is a personal account. So, bank account is debited When something Cash and checque is deposited into it because ‘Receiver is debited’ in case of personal accounts. And it is credited When something usually Cash is withdrawn from it. So, the Journal entry for the above transaction is :-
Bank A/c. Dr ... [Amount]
To Cash A/c. [Amount]
