Hey Friend

First we establish the debit and credit table.

If we are buying or purchasing the furniture we place the amount in the debit side. If we're selling we place it on the credit side.

If it's buying by cash place cash on the credit side. If we're selling by cash place it on the debit side.

Ledger - opening entry

Open cash account place furniture on the credit side of its debit in the table and on the debit side of its credit on the table.

Open furniture account and place cash on the credit side if it's debited in the table. And place it on the debit side of its creditors in the table.
