My opinion on Sankranti and Deepawali are mentioned below:
a) Sankranti is a Hindu festival for taking a dip in holy river Ganga, giving alms t o poor and making sweets, delicacies and cookies with seasame seeds.
b) Deepawali is a Hindu festival of lights in which people clean their home and decorate it by lighting small mud lamps. However, these days most of the people use electronic lights instead of small mud lamps.
c) Sankranti marks the ending of severe cold during winters in most of the northern regions of India whereas it can be said that winter season starts with Deepawali.
