In my opinion, the Internet has 3 effects.
1. Life changing - it can grow businesses (online and offline businesses). In fact, using the Internet you can make money even if you don't have any or if you start from scratch. The Internet is responsible for 80% of the new yearly millionaires.
2. Neutral - some folks simply don't care about what they do on the Internet - they watch a video, a movie, they check an email and that's it. These people see it just as a simple tool and nothing more.
3. Negative (or a step closer to self-destruction) - teenagers and even grown ups (30+ years) spend the whole day playing silly games. While some play for fun & business to make money, more than 95% of gamers are simply draining their time and their life by sitting in a chair and doing nothing for them or for others.
It's all about how you see it. For me, it's a life changing player. I focused on creating products, blog, books, courses.
