China

EXPLANATION:

There were two opium wars that were fought by the British Army on the monopoly of the trade of opium. The British East India Company made sure that they wanted to be the only ones trading it.

The British East India Company fought the two opium trade wars against China in the year 1839 – 42 and the second one at 1856-60. Though the British were able to win the war against the Chinese army but the Chinese army lost out a lot on people as the casualties were huge.
