Answer:

x=2.507

one angle = 90.238

another opposite angle =89.745

Step-by-step explanation:

sum of opposite angle of a parallelogram is 180.

so, 34x+5 +35x+2=180

69x=180-7

69x=173

x =2.507

34x+5 =90.238

35x + 2= 89.745

Hence, x = 3 and measure of angles is 107°

GIVEN

Opposite angles of a parallelogram measure (34x+5)and (35x+2).

TO FIND

Value of x and measure of each angles.

SOLUTION

The above problem can be simply solved as follows;

The opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.

Therefore,

(34x + 5) = (35x + 2)

5 - 2 = 35x - 34x

x = 3

Measure of angles;

34x + 5 = 34 × 3 + 5 = 107°

35x + 2 = 35 × 3 + 2 = 107°

Hence, x = 3 and measure of angles is 107°
