A drone is a male bee that is produced by an unfertilized egg. Drones do not have stings, thus they do not collect nectar and pollen like female bees. A drone's main role is to comrade with a fertile queen and after the process ends he dies quickly. Whereas, the female bee is known as the queen or the worker bee. Their main role is to lay eggs and collect the nectar and pollen.
