Answer:
Explanation:
There are four major branches of science; each branch is categorized in different type of subjects that covers different areas of studies such us chemistry, physics, math, astronomy etc. The four major branches of science are, Mathematics and logic, biological science, physical science and social science.
Both statements put together are not sufficient.
Given:
Four people - AB, C and D are sitting in a row. Who is sitting at the
extreme right?
To find:
If the statement(s) is sufficient to find the answer.
Solution:
From statement 1, we know that C is to the left of D, so C can be put anywhere in first 3 positions, that means C is not on extreme right but we have to find out who is sitting at extreme right and it cannot be find out with this statement alone.
From statement 2, we know that A is in the right and B cannot be on extreme right because it is to right of A. From this statement alone, we do not know position of C and D, so answer cannot be find out.
Now if we combine both statements, we will know that either D or A will sit in extreme right. We are still not sure of this and even using both statements we cannot find out the answer.
Hence, even if both statements are used, correct answer cannot be deduced because position of A and D is not confirmed.
