OR (b) The empire of machines is enlarging. Man is becoming more and more dependent on machines. They are like Djinn in the Arabian Nights. They have altered man's ways of living. We can't imagine life without machines. But they can't have any influence on his basic instincts. Machines can't change human nature. They can't give him mental peace and spiritual bliss. They can't control man's basic nature man has become more barbaric and insensitive than his ancestors (critical appreciation)​
