Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

The length, breadth and height of a room are 12 m, 15 m and 18 m respectively.

To find :-

Determine the length of longest tape which can measur all the three dimensions of the room exactly.?

Solution :-

Given that

Length of a room (l) = 12 m

Breadth of the room (b) = 15 m

Height of the room (h) = 18 m

To find the the length of longest tape which can measur all the three dimensions of the room exactly then we have to find the HCF of the three measures.

12 = 2×2×3

15 = 3×5

18 = 2×3×3

HCF = 3

Required length = 3 m

Answer:-

The length of longest tape which can measur all the three dimensions of the room exactly is 3 m

Used Concept:-

→ HCF = Heighest Common Factor
