When a narrow beam of a monochromatic light white light passes through (2)glass slab it forms an infinite images but the most prominent image is the second image

When a narrow beam of a monochromatic light white light passes through (b) glass prism it splits into seven colours they are Red, Orange,Yellow,Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. And this splitting if white light into seven colours is called Dispersion.
