Solution :-
Here, Two positive integers a and b are given
The value of a and b is
x^3 * y^2 and x * y^3
Now,
We have to find the HCF
Therefore,
Factors of a and b are :-
a = x * x * x * y * y
b = x * y * y * y
Common factors = x * y * y
Therefore,
HCF = xy^2
Hence,
The HCF of given integers a and b is xy^2 .

If we have to find the LCM of given integers a and b then
a = x * x * x * y * y
b = x * y * y * y
LCM = x * x * x * y * y * y
LCM = x^3y^3
