One Sunday afternoon, while everyone was taking a leisurely nap enjoying the warmth of the winter evening, I felt as if something was on fire. The smell of something burning caught my attention and woke me up instantly. at first I thought my mom must have burned something in the kitchen but she was also sleeping next to me. So, I decided to see it for myself before disturbing anyone. It was then I realized that one of the houses opposite to our building was covered in smoke.
I immediately shouted for everyone to wake up and informed my dad that someone's house was burning. My dad and others called the fire department and extinguished the fire before it could spread further. Everyone thanked me for my quick reaction. And I felt good knowing that I not only saved the whole neighborhood from the carnage but also saved everyone from the fire. That day was the most dangerous scene I have ever experienced but it also taught me the value of reacting sooner in cases of emergencies.
MORAL: Always be ready to help others.
