Answer:

119.5 m

Explanation:

In the first windmill:

angle of elevation was observed to be 45 degree and the height of the mill was 50 m

tan 45=50/A. (tan 45=1)

A=50 m

in the second windmill:

the angle of elevation was observed to be 30 degree and the height of the pole is 40. 13 m

tan 30=40.13/B. (tan 30=1/√3)

B=69.5m. (√3=1.732)

now adding a and b we will get the answer of distance between the two poles

a + b is equals to 50 + 69.5 is equals to 119.5m
