uh can do it by simple unitary method.....

Since,

1 dozen = 12 Oranges 3 dozen = 3*12

1 dozen = 12 Oranges 3 dozen = 3*12 =36 oranges

Therefore.....

36 oranges cost = Rs.56

36 oranges cost = Rs.568 oranges cost. = 56*8/36

36 oranges cost = Rs.568 oranges cost. = 56*8/36 =Rs. 12.44
