Oranges cost 54 Rupees for 3 dozens in supermarket what is the cost of 8 oranges

3 dozen = 3*12 = 36 

Now,

Cost of 36 oranges = 54 

cost of 1 orange = 54/36

cost of 8 oranges =  \frac{54*8}{36}


Cost of 8 Oranges = Rs 12

Cost of oranges for 3 dozen = rupees 54

1 dozen = 12 items

3 dozen of oranges = 3 × 12 oranges
i.e, 36 oranges


36 oranges are of = rupees 54

Cost of 1 orange will be = 54/36

Cost of 8 orange will be = 54 × 8 / 36

i.e, rupees 12
