Oranges sell in a marketplace for $59.95 per box. One box contains 106 oranges. How much would you have to pay to buy 6 oranges?

The answer is 6.

Solution -

You have total 25 different possibilities for the number of oranges a box can have (which can be calculated by simply 144 - 120 + 1, here we added the 1 because both the values are possible)

Now you will get the minimum if all different possibilities occur equally. So we will divide 128 by 25 we will get 5 + 3/25 this shows that we can have 5 boxes of each possibility but we will have 3 left now we give those 3 boxes any random different number of oranges. So we will just have 6 boxes with equal number of oranges and that is the minimum. And we will have 3 such sets of 6 boxes.
