very year, more than 10,000 organisations from over 58 countries partner with Great Place to Work® Institute for assessment, benchmarking and planning actions to strengthen their workplace culture. In India, more than 600 organisations applied to Great Place to Work® Institute to undertake the assessment this year, making it the largest Study in the space of Workplace Recognition. The Institute has an objective methodology for assessing workplace culture, that has been adopted by thousands of organisations, globally. It primarily uses 2 lenses to evaluate and identify the best cultures. The first lens measures the quality of employee experience through our globally validated survey instrument known as Trust Index©. The survey helps in seeking anonymous feedback from employees. The second lens is called Culture Audit©, a proprietary tool of the Institute that evaluates the people practices of an organisation, covering the entire employee life-cycle.

Using these two lenses, Great Place to Work® Institute has recognised the 100 best workplaces as ‘India’s Best Companies To Work For- 2018’ from organisations having an employee strength of more than 500. The Economic Times and Great Place to Work® Institute have been publishing the list of ‘India’s Best Companies To Work For’ jointly every year since 2007. Our study, over the last 11 years, confirms that there are significant business benefits of creating a great workplace. RSM India independently studied and analyzed the stock performance of the organizations identified as Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work® Institute, India and The Economic Times and it was observed that these organizations consistently outperform major stock indices by a factor of four.
