The gallbladder stores the bile that is produced by liver.
Gallbladder :-
The gallbladder is a small pouch that sits just under the liver. The gallbladder stores bile produced by the liver. Though small in size, the gallbladder plays an important role in our digestion of food. The gallbladder holds the bile until it is needed for digestion of fatty foods in the duodenum of the small intestine. In response to the signals, the gallbladder squeezes the stored bile into the small intestine through a series of tubes called ducts. These ducts merge to form the common bile duct that extends to the wall of the duodenum.
