The British government organised the round table conference in London t discuss the constitutional reforms of India.

A series of conference was organised in between 1930-1932.

The demand of Swaraj and self-rule has increased and the Indians had grown quite strong to revolt.

Thus the conference were kept in order to maintain peace among the two nations but there were many significant disputes which the conference could not resolve.

The 1st RTC led the to the Gandhi-Irwin pact but the 2nd RTC was not in favour of the Indians.
