when unfavourable conditions occur amoeba withdraws psuedopodia (false feet) and creat a 3 layered cyst around it (encystation). When the favourable conditions return amoeba produces many minute amoeba and increment in their no. makes the 3 layer wall to break (sporulation).

Hence, 1 amoeba produces many amoeba by binary fission makes us to say that organisms that reproduce by binary fission are immortal.
