Answer:

It is the fifth longest river of India and the second largest tributary of River Ganga. It originates from Bandar Pooch glacier located in Uttarakhand. Yamuna is the lifeline of the capital of India, New Delhi and it also flows from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh where it meets with Ganges at Allahabad.
