Oscar Gomer Swahn who lived between 20th October and 1st May 1927 was a famous Swedish shooter who took part in three Olympic games and won six medals with three of them being gold (Ekholm, 2012). He is recorded as the oldest Olympian participant and the oldest to win a gold medal which he won at the age of 64 years and 258 days.
