Oscillations- movement of a regular speed back and forth. Can also mean variation in magnitude or position around a central point.

How to find it's time period-  frequency (f) of an oscillation is measure in hertz (Hz) it is the number of oscillations per second. The time for one oscillation is called the period (T) it is measured in seconds.

Example: swinging pendulum and alternating current
