1) Osmosis includes diffusion but not vice-versa - true. reason : osmosis is the example of the diffusion.... diffusion is movement of fluid from a religion of a higher to a lower concentration across with a semi permeable membrane, while the osmosis is the diffusion of water across with a semi permeable membrane.....

Diffusion is the movement of solute molecules from a higher concentration to a lower concentration through semipermeable membrane.

Osmosis is the diffusion of solvent molecules through semipermeable membrane.

But diffusion doesn't include osmosis because diffusion can occur with or without a semipermeable membrane whereas osmosis require semipermeable membrane
