Dear Amrit -

◆ Answer -

Osmotic pressure and blood pressure are maintained by *vasopressin*.

◆ Extra information -

- Anti-diuretic hormone (vasopressin) is released by posterior pituitary gland.

- It acts on V1 receptors of blood vessels to constrict them, thus increasing blood pressure.

- It also acts on V2 receptors of kidney to cause fluid reabsorption, thus reducing osmolarity of ECF.

- That's how it regulates both blood pressure & osmotic pressure.

Thanks.
