Otto von Bismarck was the architect of German unification. He was very clever, diplomatic person and have great experience in wars. He (during 1864-1870)engineered a diplomatic alliance with France and defeated Denmark in Schleswig war. Then he defeated France to show his dominance in Prissian-franco war and at last he defeated Austria and completed the process of German unification with his principal of 'blood & Iron'
